Along with the various other things I do, I try to stay on top of the breast cancer research literature. The article I read this morning, "Progesterone in Dairy Products Raises Risks," reminded me again of why I limit my consumption of dairy products and why it would probably be best for me to avoid them all together.
Although women with hormonally driven cancers and their doctors tend to focus on eliminating or reducing internal sources of the hormones estrogen and progesterone to prevent or delay recurrence, we often forget about avoiding external sources of these hormones, for example dairy products, meats, pesticides, and other chemical products.
It's definitely time for some vegan recipes and recipe reviews.
